Job Description
South Indian chefs are culinary professionals who prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes, including breads, curries, and breakfast items. Their responsibilities may include: Preparing breads Making appam, idli, dosa, pathiri, uthappam, poori masala, and more, using ingredients like rice and wheat flour Preparing curries Making ethnic fish curries, chicken curries, and beef dishes, and understanding the taste differences between Travancore and Malabar dishes Managing the kitchen Ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly, managing kitchen activities, and supervising kitchen staff Maintaining quality Ensuring the quality of ingredients and the hygiene of the cooking area, and maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation Following regulations Complying with food health and safety regulations, and ensuring kitchen staff adhere to those regulations Some other responsibilities that a South Indian chef might have include: Unpacking and organizing deliveries Mopping up kitchen spills Seasoning meats Washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits Preparing basic salads and sauces Controlling stock and inspecting deliveries Sourcing ingredients Controlling inventory Maintaining kitchen equipment Commi 1- South Indian Cuisine - Delhi/NCR - The LaLiT - 1 to 3 years of experience Naukri.com 25 South Indian Chef Job Vacancies in Kerala | Indeed.com south indian chef jobs in kerala. ...
