Job Description

A customer success manager (CSM) is responsible for building relationships with customers and ensuring they have a good experience with a product or service. CSMs help customers transition from sales prospects to active users and work to develop long-term client relationships. They also help customers optimize the product or service to get the best return on investment (ROI). Here are some of the responsibilities of a CSM: Customer interactions Regularly interact with new, existing, and potential customers. Manage interactions between customers and the company. Customer service Implement customer service policies and procedures to improve customer satisfaction. Train employees on how to provide customer assistance.
