This is supervisory and limited skilled work in the maintenance and custodial care of a large building or group of buildings, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment. An employee allocated to this class of work is responsible for supervising the work of a custodial and domestic staff engaged in the operation and care of buildings, lawns, related equipment and systems, and for performing related maintenance tasks. Work requires the application of semi-journeyman skills in several of the standard building trades. Assignments are received in the form of established schedules and oral or written instructions, and the employee exercises considerable discretion in determining work methods. Work is performed under general supervision and is reviewed through inspection of completed work and conferences.
