Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and experienced System Administrator to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and networks. The goal is to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently, allowing our business operations to proceed uninterrupted. Key Responsibilities: System Maintenance and Monitoring: Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and workstations. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the availability of IT services. Perform regular system backups and create/maintain recovery procedures. Security Management: Implement and manage security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and patch management. Regularly monitor and respond to security alerts and issues. Manage user access controls, ensuring the protection of data and systems. Network Administration: Set up and manage LAN, WAN, and other network segments. Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring reliable connectivity. Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues promptly. Software and Hardware Management: Install and upgrade software applications, and manage licenses. Set up and configure hardware, including servers, routers, and printers. Ensure the latest updates and patches are applied to all systems. User Support: Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues. Manage user accounts and permissions, including email and cloud services. Conduct training sessions on IT policies, tools, and best practices. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, network layouts, and IT procedures. Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and IT-related metrics. Contribute to the development of IT policies and procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role. Strong knowledge of system administration, including Windows/Linux/Unix operating systems, IIS .Databases(MSSQL.MYSQL & Maria), web hosting (Cpanel, Plesk), Email. Familiarity with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), backup/recovery tools, and monitoring systems. Experience with networking (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), security (e.g., firewalls, VPN), and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python). Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Server+, RHCSA) are a plus. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
